Bunny Machine
This fine machine was actually Hugh Hefners and one of the few original 2002 Bonnevilles. It spent a good few years at the Playboy mansion and was obtained by my good friend Jason. It has gone through a few transformations by us over the years.
This time around we really went to town and gave it a full overhaul and make over!
We stripped the bike and came up with a high class game plan that would take it to another level, not just another blacked out Bonne!
The motor has had the full treatment including B/C Airbox removal kit, stage 1 cams, CR race carbs with billet manifolds, TTP stage 2 ignition, heavy duty clutch, titanium header wrap and those sweet B/C Sleeper silencers. All that adds up to a very reliable package which we professionally set up and man it runs as good as it looks!
The bodywork was stripped and the fender cut down with a mini pedestrian slicer. B/C panels were then all powdercoated a mix of solar bronze, solar black and millennium black. Next we recovered the B/C slammer with a fine distressed leather which give it a subtle hint of colour while still retaining that dark mean feel!
The chassis now needed some serious improvements to keep it on track!
We built a set of TT custom wheels specifically to take the new Avon Trailmaster tires which are now available in a whopping 180 rear!! Man do they look and ride good!
17x5.5 and 19x2.5 wheels, with satin drop centers over polished rims and our 'Revolutionary wide Cush drive and sprocket system' ensure perfect wheel alignment.
These wheels were an incredible amount of work by Elliot and there are no others out there what come close to these bunnies!
Full Works custom built suspension to suit the lighter wheels, and that wicked 1 inch over TT swingarm give it the perfect stance and geometry to run flat out and stable at 120mph plus. A stage 1 Berringer classic brake kit ensures powerfull smooth anchors when needed.
All the electrical was overhauled and replaced with a Motogadget and modern LED lighting including the new Motodermic HID headlight units which look superb and they are seriously bright
This bike was a lot of work and bucks, but the results are stunning. Its a one off bike and the pics don’t do it justice!
Hope you all like it!
Cheers
Adrian and the Canyon Team!
